ACCESS RIGHTS (MANDATORY)
Users of the York, Dartmouth, and Saint-Jean rivers can obtain their fishing access rights at the reception desk of the Société de gestion des rivières de Gaspé (SGRG), located at 25 York East Boulevard in Gaspé, as well as at authorized locations designated by the SGRG.
18 years old and under
Access is free in non-quota sectors for those aged 18 and under, up to a maximum of 10 days per year across all rivers combined (limited to 3 consecutive days only). After the 10 free days are used, a 50% discount applies. In quota sectors, individuals aged 18 and under are granted a 50% discount.
Membership Card and Discounts During the Season
The membership card now provides a 15% discount on the purchase of access rights for the three Gaspé rivers!
From May 25 to August 31 inclusively, starting at 9 a.m. on the day of the fishing activity, you will receive a 25% discount on the rates for regulated sectors. Starting at 2:30 p.m. on the same day of the activity, we offer you a 25% discount in non-regulated sectors.
From September 1 to September 30, a 33% discount applies to the current rates.
Reservation policy
(York, Dartmouth et Saint-Jean zones 1 et 2)Refunds are non-transferable (except for rods bought under the 20% reservation rule) and no other refunds will be granted. The Société de gestion des rivières de Gaspé (SGRG) accepts no responsibility for conditions beyond their control (illness, accident, extreme weather event, air transport delays, fire, death of the holder or a family member including modifications to the catch and release periods or any other conditions beyond their control).
A holder can, however advise the SGRG in writing, at least 72 hours before the activity that they wish to cancel the reservations. The SGRG will refund 80% of the costs (residents) and 65% of the costs (non-residents) on condition that the reservations are sold again in the 48 hour draw.
Refunds will only be made if all of the rods in the affected zone are sold out and will only be made once the reservations have been bought according to the order for making reservations
